AVSAC is a small animal dermatology, allergy, and skin referral clinic dedicated to identifying the cause for  and treating chronic skin disease in dogs and cats. Once the diagnosis is made, our emphasis is on educating clients on optimal pet skin and coat care, thereby enhancing the lives of both pet owner and pet  by significantly improving quality of life through improved skin and hair coat health.

We offer a wide range of veterinary dermatological services to keep your 

companions feeling their best:

AVSAC, which includes a highly skilled veterinary technical staff and a friendly client care coordinator,

is dedicated to working closely with the client and family veterinarian to provide a variety of services including 

consultation, extensive client education, and progressive, advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment

 options for all diseases of the skin, coat, ears, oral cavity and nails including those due to allergic, infectious,

parasitic, hormonal, immune mediated (autoimmune), congenital, keratinization, neoplastic, idiopathic and

nutritional causes.  Improved skin, coat, ear and nail health results in improved quality of life for pets and their

families.  We use the most advanced methods to diagnose and treat skin, hair, ear and nail conditions in animals. 

Treatment options are discussed in detail with the client so that the best possible therapeutic and management

plan can be developed and implemented for your pet.  Digital photography is used in many cases for record

 keeping purposes (becomes a part of the medical record) and to evaluate the patient's progress.

Some of the state-of-the-art diagnostics offered are:

Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of surgical procedures

specific to dermatologic conditions.   


Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for

our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during

all anesthetic procedures.    


Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control

products to meet the needs of your pet's dermatological conditions. We also carry hypoallergenic prescription diets.
